Concord High School is a public grades 9–12 school in Concord, New Hampshire, serving 1,394 students in the area’s largest high school and maintaining a 13:1 student–teacher ratio. Part of the Concord School District, the school ranks near the middle of New Hampshire: 44th out of 89 high schools, or about the 51st percentile. Its ranking has improved considerably from 60th in 2023–24, although it remains behind nearby schools such as Hopkinton High School, Goffstown High School, and Bow High School.

Academic results are uneven by subject. Reading proficiency is 58%, slightly above both the district and state results of 55%, while science proficiency is 42%, modestly above the statewide 38%. Mathematics is the clearest weakness: only 19% of students are proficient, compared with 44% statewide and 41% districtwide. That result is lower than Goffstown High School (38%), Bow High School (32%), and Hopkinton High School (52%), and reflects a persistent multi-year challenge. Concord’s larger enrollment and broader economic diversity also mean comparisons with small schools such as Spark Academy of Advanced Technologies Charter School should be viewed cautiously.

The most serious concern is graduation: Concord’s 2024–25 rate was 73.2%, well below New Hampshire’s 87% average and below nearby schools including John Stark Regional High School (89.1%) and Merrimack Valley High School (91.2%). However, the dropout rate has improved to 1%, below the state’s 2.3%. For families, the key questions are how the school is addressing mathematics, course completion, attendance, and the recent graduation decline.
