Summary

Nute High School is a small public high school in the close-knit community of Milton, New Hampshire, serving 166 students in grades 9–12. Its student-teacher ratio is 10.6:1, allowing for a relatively personal school environment. Nute currently ranks 39th out of 89 New Hampshire high schools, placing it in the 56th percentile and earning a three-star rating. This is a major improvement from its 2021–22 ranking of last statewide. Although the Milton School District ranks much lower statewide, Nute’s school-level results suggest that the high school is performing better than the district ranking alone might indicate.

Academically, science is Nute’s clearest strength.
