Summary:

The Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District serves about 1,151 students in four schools covering prekindergarten through grade 12 in the Jaffrey and Rindge, New Hampshire, area. The district includes Rindge Memorial School and Jaffrey Grade School for elementary students, plus separate middle and high school programs at Conant Middle High School. Overall, the district ranks around the 27th percentile statewide, although the schools differ noticeably in recent performance and strengths.

Conant Middle High School (M) has the district’s highest current ranking and the strongest recent improvement. Its mathematics, reading, and science results all increased in 2025–2026, with reading at 53% and science up 17 points. Eighth-grade mathematics remains a concern. Conant Middle High School (H) also improved its ranking and has excellent completion outcomes: a 95.2% graduation rate and no reported dropouts. Its reading and science results are near or slightly above state levels, but mathematics is much weaker, including only 19% proficiency on the NH SAS and SAT mathematics assessments.

Among the elementary schools, Rindge Memorial School is the stronger overall performer, particularly in mathematics and science. Its math proficiency nearly matches the state average, while its science result exceeds the state comparison. Jaffrey Grade School ranks lower but improved in every reported subject, and its fifth-grade reading and overall science results are encouraging. Across the district, mathematics is the clearest academic priority, followed by elementary reading. Science is comparatively consistent, and the middle school’s recent gains suggest positive momentum worth sustaining.
