Summary

Westfield Elementary is a small, rural PK-5 school in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, serving 212 students in the Surry County Schools district. Nearly every student (98.6%) qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch, but the school's current standing is well below its district and many nearby schools: it ranks in the 25th percentile statewide with a 1-star rating for 2025-26, a sharp decline from its 4-star, 72nd-percentile performance in 2020-21.
