Open Quote This is truly a pitiful excuse for a school. Not only is the administration uncaring about student needs but the also enforce tyrannical rule upon students. Nearly all kids who go there are unhappy and angry and teachers are forced to abide by the unfair demands of the administration. One such demand is no cell phone usage. While I can see where they would come from on this I firmly believe that these people don't have the ethical right to take students property from them or dictate when and where they can use said property. While its true that students may use their phone during class what that does is teach them a valuable lesson for college in that if you don't pay attention you will fail. Speaking of college this institution in no way educates students well enough to prosper in any other university than a community trade school. They put more emphasis and obviously funding into electives such as agricultural science and teaching kids how to be a mechanic. It became shockingly clear when I went to college that I was light years behind everyone else in my university and upon meeting with my counselor discovered I barely made it into my university, that has an 80 acceptance rate for out of school students, while Corinth Holders decreed I was a B student.
To summarize the administration is blinded with delusions of being important and believe themselves to have absolute power over students lives, enforce unfair and unethical rules upon them, and in no way educate the children they're suppose to foster and prepare for college. If you are considering this school at all please choose something else so nobody has to miss a interview or other important meeting because they had to go pick up their sister after school so she could get her phone back from the dictators of Corinth Holders High School.
