Waubun Secondary is a public school in the small northwestern Minnesota community of Waubun, serving about 283 students in grades 7–12 as the comprehensive secondary school for the Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Schools district. In 2025–2026 it ranked 320th of 473 Minnesota high schools — the 32nd percentile with 2 stars — up from the 19th percentile and 1 star in 2024–2025 and the 21st percentile in 2023–2024. That is real improvement, though the school still sits below the state median.

Academically, 2025–2026 MCA proficiency at Waubun Secondary was 24% in math, 30% in reading, and 15% in science — essentially matching district averages (23%, 30.6%, 15.7%) but below Minnesota's 44.9%, 48.6%, and 25.5%.
