Orono Senior High is a 9–12 school in Long Lake, Minnesota, serving 961 students as part of the Orono Public School District, which ranks 13th of 458 districts statewide. The school earned a 4-star rating for 2025-2026 and ranked 84th of 473 high schools — the 82nd percentile — a marked change from 2020-2021 through 2024-2025, when Orono consistently placed in the top 36 schools statewide after several top-10 finishes earlier last decade.

Completion outcomes remain elite. In 2024-2025 the graduation rate was 98.2% and the dropout rate 0.4%, far better than Minnesota's roughly 84–85% graduation and 4.0–4.5% dropout rates. Math is a clear strength, with 11th-grade MCA-III proficiency at 60%, 24.7 points above the state.
