Sandwich Middle High School is a grade 7–12 public school serving 888 students in the Sandwich district in East Sandwich, MA, on Cape Cod, and in 2025–2026 it ranked 70th of 353 Massachusetts high schools—the 80th percentile, with 4 stars.

Academically, 2025–2026 was a strong rebound. The school exceeded Massachusetts proficiency averages in ELA (53.58% all grades; 66.41% grade 10), mathematics (56.07%; 59.20% grade 10), science (57.23%; 58.47% grade 10), biology end-of-course (52.50%), and grade 8 civics (46.99%). Regionally, it is second only to Sturgis Charter Public School in grade 10 ELA and math, but it edges that school in grade 10 science and biology, and it outperforms Falmouth High, Mashpee Middle-High School, Bourne High School, Plymouth South High, Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High, Wareham Senior High, Upper Cape Cod Vocational Technical, and Barnstable High on most core proficiency measures. Subgroup results are a standout: low-income students ranked 14th of 340 (96th percentile, 5 stars) and special education students ranked 33rd of 298 (89th percentile, 4 stars), a major improvement from 2024–2025.
