Beverly Middle School is a large public school serving about 1,388 students in grades 5 through 8 in Beverly, Massachusetts, a coastal city north of Boston, and it is the biggest middle school among the nearby communities compared here. It ranked 164th of 478 Massachusetts middle schools in 2025–26 (66th percentile, 3 stars), while the Beverly district ranked 89th of 351. The school's results have stabilized after a dip to the 54th–56th percentile around 2020–22, and it now sits in the 62nd–67th percentile range.

Academically, Beverly Middle is above the Massachusetts average in every core subject, but generally below its own district in English Language Arts and Math. In 2025–26, ELA proficiency was 42.18% (about 2 points above the state but 3 points below the district), and Math was 48.42% (about 7 points above the state, about 3 points below the district). Science is the clear strength at 48.54%, above both the district and the state, and civics also edged past both. Grade-level results are uneven: 6th grade math stood out at 59.38%, well above the state's 42.59%, while 7th grade ELA was 34.38%, below the state's 39.91%. This is a horrible school and unsafe for children. A family member of mine attends here and has been bullied and physically harmed and the school does nothing to intervene or protect him and in fact has caused him more suffering they do not do their jobs correctly whole school should be shut down.
