The city of Haverhill, Massachusetts, is home to 15 schools serving roughly 8,880 students across three districts — Haverhill Public Schools with 13 schools, Whittier Regional Vocational Technical with one, and Hill View Montessori Charter Public (District) with one — spanning 8 elementary, 3 middle, 3 high, and 1 alternative school from pre-K through grade 12.

Whittier Regional Vocational is the clear standout, with a 99.0% graduation rate, 0.6% dropout rate, and 10th-grade results near or above the state in science (42.09 vs. 40.5) and biology (38.58 vs. 37.68), though slightly below in ELA (41.03 vs. 45.48) and math (40.18 vs. 43.73). It far outperforms Haverhill High, which graduates 88.4%, drops out at 7.7%, and posts 10th-grade ELA 28.86, math 25.33, and science 24.93, despite spending less per student. Among the lower grades, Walnut Square (K-3) matches the state in both ELA (42.11) and math (42.11); Caleb Dustin Hunking is math-strong (41.15 vs. district 29.27); and Golden Hill has climbed for three years (30th to 35th percentile).
