Lincoln County High School in Stanford, Kentucky, serves grades 9–12 and enrolls 886 students in a community in Lincoln County. It is larger than nearby high schools, whose enrollment averages about 696. Most importantly, its 2025–2026 KSA proficiency was below both the state and nearby-school averages in all six reported subjects, while chronic absenteeism was high.

Reading is the clearest academic weakness: 35% of students were proficient, compared with 49% statewide and a 55% average at nearby high schools. The district’s KSA results match the school’s in every subject. Social studies was closest to nearby results, at 32% proficient versus a 39% peer average, but still below the state’s 37%.
