North Hancock Elementary School serves 451 students in pre-K through grade 5 in Lewisport, Kentucky. Its 2025–2026 results are mixed: reading is a strength in grades 4 and 5, but grade 5 is a clear academic trouble spot. Only 29% of fifth graders were proficient in math, 14 percentage points below the state, 6 below Hancock County, and 23 points below the nearby-school average; that was the lowest reported grade 5 math result among the 10 nearby schools.
