Lloyd High School serves 711 students in grades 9–12 in Erlanger, a Northern Kentucky community, and is part of the Erlanger-Elsmere Independent district. Its latest results show a mixed picture: reading is a clear strength, while several tested subjects lag behind nearby schools. The most pressing concern is that math, social studies, and editing and mechanics results are substantially below nearby traditional high-school averages.

Reading stands out: 55% of students were proficient, 6 percentage points above the state and 4 above the district; the result was 3 points below the nearby-school average. Writing was also above the state by 2 points and matched the district. In contrast, math proficiency was 39%, just below the state but 15 points below the nearby-school average. Social studies and editing and mechanics were each about 15 points below nearby averages; both were also below the state, by 8 and 9 points, respectively. Graduation is a positive indicator: 96% graduated, above the state and district rates, though below the nearby traditional high schools with reported results.
