While Chester Goodridge's overall performance is impressive, the school has seen a concerning increase in chronic absenteeism, rising from 11.8% in 2022-2023 to 25.0% in 2024-2025. Additionally, the school's student-teacher ratio has increased from 13.5 to 15.6 over the past few years, which may be an area to monitor. Overall, Chester Goodridge Elementary School is a strong-performing school within the Boone County district, but it will need to address its rising chronic absenteeism and increasing class sizes to maintain its high academic standards.

Open Quote My kids have gone to Goodridge Elementary for 3 years and will be going into their 4th year in August. The teachers are amazing and staff has always been caring and helpful. They have fun, family activities outside school, social clubs and sports, and field trips. They have a great Family Resource Center as well for families that need help with clothing, food, and more.
