Compared to nearby schools in the Boone County district, such as Longbranch Elementary School, A M Yealey Elementary School generally performs worse on test scores and has higher chronic absenteeism rates. However, the school performs better than some schools in the Erlanger-Elsmere Independent district, such as Howell Elementary School, which has significantly lower test scores and higher free/reduced lunch rates.

Open Quote I hate that my kids went to Yealey! They make little to no effort to help your child make friends when they first move to the school. My Kindergartener was suppose to walk to her classroom alone by the third day of school. They didnt know that my kindergartener wasnt in her classroom and they have found her roaming the halls after she had been there for 30 mins. I want to make sure my kids enter the school in the morning expecially on a day where there is ice on the pathway. A lady told me I needed to go that I couldnt do that. All they care about is the test scores so they can still be ranked high. Also...Kentucky laws in general are crazy... an absent and a tardy are counted excatly the same. It doesnt matter if your child is only one min late, it counts the same as if they were not there that day. I hate this school and I can not wait for the summer when we move out of this district.
