Olathe North Senior High is a grades 9–12 public school in Olathe, Kansas, serving 2,011 students. Its results are mixed: students are above the state in English language arts (ELA) and math, but below it in science. The most important contrast is math: North is ahead of the state, yet ranks last among the five Olathe high schools compared.

ELA is North’s strongest subject relative to both the state and local peers: 52% of students were proficient, compared with 46% statewide and 59% in the Olathe district; North ranked third among the five local schools, just below their 54% average. Math proficiency was 43%, above the state’s 41% but well below the district’s 58% and the local peer average of 49%; North ranked last locally. In science, North’s 32% was below the state’s 38% and district’s 46%, but nearly identical to the other Olathe schools’ average, placing it second locally.

ELA and math have improved substantially since 2022–23, rising 20 and 21 percentage points, respectively; both moved from below the state to above it.
