McPherson Middle School serves 474 students in grades 6–8 in McPherson, Kansas. Its latest results show a clear contrast: science is a relative bright spot, while English language arts (ELA) and math are the school’s biggest academic concerns. The most important finding for families is that McPherson’s ELA and math results trail all three nearby schools, even as its science result is stronger.

In 2025–26, about 37% of students were proficient in ELA, 34% in math, and 42% in science.
