Prairie View High in LaCygne, Kansas, serves 258 students in grades 9–12 and competes with several nearby conventional high schools. In 2025–26, it ranked second among five comparable nearby schools in English language arts (ELA), math and science, with results generally close to state levels. The clearest finding is math’s sharp improvement: proficiency rose from 14% in 2022–23 to 43% in 2025–26, moving from well below the state to slightly above it.

Prairie View is a strong local performer across all three subjects: its 2025–26 proficiency was 44% in ELA, 43% in math and 36% in science, compared with nearby-school averages of 39%, 34% and 30%.
