El Dorado High is a public high school serving 543 students in grades 9–12 in El Dorado, Kansas. Its 2025–26 proficiency rates—27% in English language arts (ELA), 21% in math and 12% in science—were below the state and district in every subject; most notably, they were the lowest among the seven nearby schools in all three.

Science is the clearest weakness: the school’s 12% proficiency rate was 18 percentage points below the nearby-school average, 15 points below the El Dorado district and 26 points below the state.
