As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I dont why everyone is making a fuss derby middle school, home of the bulldogs, is amazing place to be. Sure, there are some flaws. Like rankings but, every school has them. You have the lower class kids which include the "dorks" or whatever you call them. The middle class people. I would say I am here but you know everyones gives themself more glory than needed. Then you have the top of the top the Queen Bees the BG's or BB's i guess. When your new you go through admition. If the populars like you theyll snag you. If they dont they leave you alone in the jungle. A main favorite game they like to play is big block in the hall. Which is when they (sorry) have like a forcefield or something in the halls. THEY WONT LET YOU THROUGH. I absoulutly hate that I mean just because some people dont care about there attendance doesnt mean others dont too. Anyways, thats really the whole bullying scheme. And the teachers, some teachers have admitted that they gossip but, thats something everyone does. I know you wouldnt want to admit it but, we all gossip whether its about the neighbors or the store clerk who has a horrible attitude, or that super snobby rich girl down the street. We all gossip. Its not like the teachers are screaming down the halls. "I DONT THINK THAT CHILD SHOULD BE WEARING THAT". No, they dont its mainly about other teachers but, not in front of the students. Besides that, they are pretty cool Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
