Mulvane

Mulvane has four schools serving pre-K through grade 12: two elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. Test scores are available for three schools; Mulvane Elementary W D Munson has no reported subject results. Across the three schools with scores, the strongest overall concern is ELA: their average proficiency was 40%, compared with 46% statewide, a 6-point gap.

Mulvane Grade School had the highest all-grades ELA and science results, at 47% and 48%; its science score was 10 points above the state result. Mulvane High had the lowest ELA result, 33%, 13 points below the state and 14 points below Grade School. Its 39% math result was the highest, though all three schools’ math scores were tightly grouped, from 37% to 40%; the group average was 2 points below the state. ELA results moved in different directions by school from 2024–25 to 2025–26: High fell 12 points and Middle fell 3, while Grade School rose 3. Overall, the three-school average dropped 4 points as the state average rose 1. SchoolDigger’s latest rankings also differ: High was at the 56th percentile, Mulvane Middle School at the 52nd and Grade School at the 39th; these rankings are not test-score percentages. For added context, enrollment ranged from 368 at Grade School to 540 at High, student-teacher ratios from 10.7 at Middle to 13.7 at Grade School, and free/reduced-lunch rates from 33% at High to 43% at Grade School. These measures vary alongside results, without forming a simple pattern across the schools.
