West Noble High School is a 9–12 school serving 742 students in Ligonier, a small city in Noble County in northeastern Indiana, and it is the only high school in the West Noble School Corporation. Statewide, it ranks 259th of 415 Indiana high schools — about the 38th percentile, or 2 stars — while its district ranks 222nd of 374. Roughly 55% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, per-student spending is $10,465 (2023–24), and the student–teacher ratio is 16.8, both leaner figures than most nearby schools.

Test scores are the school's clearest weak spot, especially in math. On the 11th-grade SAT in 2025–26, reading proficiency was 41.67% and math 17.71%, against state rates of 51.9% and 25.6%; math has not exceeded 20.63% in any of the four reported years. Science is different — West Noble matched or neared the state in Biology (44.05% vs. 43.6% in 2023–24; 42.68% vs. 45.6% in 2024–25) and stayed level with higher-ranked Fairfield Junior-Senior High School. The school beats the state graduation rate every year (91.7% vs. 89.7% in 2024–25) but trails most neighbors, including Westview Junior-Senior High School (100%) and Northridge High School (98.8%).
