Southern Wells Junior-Senior High School is a 7–12 school in the small town of Poneto, Indiana, serving 384 students in the Southern Wells Com Schools district. It is one of the smaller high schools in its nearby comparison group—only South Adams High School, at 347 students, is smaller—and unlike several nearby 9–12 schools, it includes grades 7 and 8. The school ranks 174 of 415 for 2025–2026, placing it in the 58th percentile with 3 stars, and its district ranks 152 of 374 statewide.
