Jay County Junior/Senior High School is a grade 7–12 school in Portland, Indiana, serving 1,207 students as part of the Jay School Corporation. It is by far the largest school in its nearby comparison group — nearly twice the size of Blackford Junior-Senior High School (651 students) and more than three times the size of South Adams High School (347). The district ranks 147th of 374 in Indiana, and the school itself ranks 148th of 415 for 2025-2026, placing it at the 64th percentile with 3 stars.
