Jay School Corporation includes six schools—five elementary schools and one combined junior/senior high school serving grades 7–12—with 2,950 students in Indiana. The largest is Jay County Junior/Senior High School at 1,207 students, about 40.9% of enrollment; the five elementaries enroll 1,743. East Jay Elementary is the largest elementary (529), and West Jay Elementary is the smallest (214). East Elementary School serves K–2, so it has no current ILEARN/SAT/Biology records; its missing tests are structural, not privacy suppression. The district profile is rank 147 of 374 in Indiana, 61st percentile, 3 stars.

Among elementaries, East Jay Elementary is the most balanced on all-grade proficiency: ELA 44.47% and math 48.54%, above district 39.8% and 43.01%, with science 40.61% and 14.6% chronic absenteeism, below district 19.0% and state 16.7%.
