The 13 elementary schools in Elkhart Community Schools enroll about 5,678 students, mostly in PK–5 buildings (Cleveland and Eastwood serve K–5), with sizes ranging from 296 students at Bristol Elementary School to 531 at Roosevelt STEAM Academy. The district ranks 317th of 374 in Indiana — the 15th percentile with a 1-star rating — and no elementary school earned more than 2 stars. Four schools reached 2 stars: Riverview Elementary School, Monger Elementary School, Mary Feeser Elementary School, and Eastwood Elementary School.

Riverview is the academic leader, with the highest ELA (41.04%) and science (38.71%) proficiency and a 47th-percentile rank. Monger posts the top math proficiency (51.25%), including 4th-grade math at 69.39% — the highest single grade-subject score in the data. Mary Feeser is the most balanced, with the top 5th-grade social studies result (42.11%), while Eastwood has the lowest chronic absenteeism (11.3%) and the lowest poverty rate (44.86% free/reduced lunch).
