Frederick Nerge Elementary School serves 607 students in grades K–6 in Roselle, Illinois. In 2025–2026, students’ proficiency was above state rates in both English Language Arts (ELA) and math: 68% in ELA and 59% in math, compared with 56% and 40% statewide. The school’s overall results, however, hide a grade-level concern: third-grade ELA proficiency was 45%, below both the state’s 48% and the district’s 57%.
