Open Quote Benteen is an excellent thriving school! My husband and I had many concerns before sending our three kids there. We recently bout a home in the nearby sub-division so we could be closer to work. We decided to give Benteen after not having much luck at the nearby Charter school. After meeting with the principal and learning more about the staff we couldn't have made a better choice! Our children are having the best year academically and fit in well socially. The school is fairly small (maybe 300 students) so we enjoy our kids in the small classroom setting. I do wish they had a few more after school options but the school has been nothing short of a joy. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
