Platt Technical High School in Milford, CT, serves 749 students in grades 9–12 as part of the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System, a statewide network of career and technical schools. The school's statewide ranking has improved meaningfully this year, moving from the 9th percentile in 2024-2025 to the 26th percentile in 2025-2026, where it now ranks 99th out of 133 high schools — an encouraging jump after a decade spent mostly between the 9th and 30th percentiles.

At 97.8%, Platt graduates students at a higher rate than the state average of 91.2%, and it exceeds both traditional high schools in the Milford School District — Joseph A. Foran High School (94.9%) and Jonathan Law High School (94.6%). Academic proficiency, however, is a different story.
