Thunder Vista P-8 in Broomfield, Colorado, is a pre-K through 8th grade school serving 725 students within the Adams 12 Five Star Schools district. It is one of the few P-8 schools in the area and performs consistently well: in the most recent 2025–2026 ranking it placed 129th out of 943 Colorado schools, in the 86th percentile with a 4-star rating, after earning a 5-star, 94th-percentile rank the prior year. Its students far exceed district and state averages—68.5% ELA and 59.4% math proficiency, versus district rates of 42.3% and 35.5%. The school also has very low chronic absenteeism (12.2% vs. 32.2% districtwide) and a relatively low-poverty population, with only about 10% of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch.

One of the school’s greatest strengths is its Hispanic students, who ranked 10th out of 249 schools statewide (96th percentile) in 2025–2026.
