Nine elementary schools in ZIP code 92882 are part of Corona-Norco Unified: eight serve K–6 and Cesar Chavez Academy serves K–8. In 2025–26, the schools’ unweighted average proficiency was 50% in English language arts (ELA), 38% in math and 30% in science, compared with state rates of 49%, 38% and 36%. Results differ sharply from school to school: the highest-to-lowest spread was 47 percentage points in ELA, 50 in math and 46 in science. Most important, the area’s near-state ELA average masks a substantial gap in science.
Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary stands out at the top, leading all three subjects with 71% in ELA, 63% in math and 52% in science—21, 24 and 16 percentage points above state rates.
