ZIP code 90623 has five schools: three K–6 elementary schools, one grades 7–8 junior high and one grades 9–12 high school. In 2025–26, the schools averaged 66% proficiency in ELA, 55% in math and 51% in science, compared with state results of 49%, 38% and 36%. Four schools were above the state in math and science; Walker Junior High was just below in both. The clearest overall finding is that Los Coyotes Elementary leads the area in all three subjects.
