Cypress Elementary

Cypress Elementary includes six schools serving kindergarten through grade six in the Cypress area. In 2025–2026, their average proficiency was 66% in English language arts (ELA), 62% in math and 56% in science—above California’s 49%, 38% and 36%, respectively, but slightly below the Cypress Elementary district averages. From 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, the six-school average fell by about 1 percentage point in ELA, was essentially unchanged in math and rose by about 2 points in science; California’s results rose in all three, so the schools’ advantage over the state narrowed. Science improved at four schools, including King, up 7 points, while Vessels fell 5 points in that subject. SchoolDigger ranks Landell 103rd of 5,804 California schools and Luther 1,480th. Income figures are reported as free/reduced lunch eligible for school year 2024–2025: Landell is lowest at 25%, while King is highest at 77% and still has near-leading science results.
