Miwok Middle serves 1,181 students in grades 7–8 in Sacramento, California, among several nearby middle schools. Its strongest headline is that 2025–2026 proficiency was higher than both state and district results in every tested subject: 72% in English Language Arts (ELA), compared with 49% statewide and 41% in the district; 58% in math, compared with 38% and 32%; and 59% in science, compared with 36% and 30%.

Miwok also led nearby schools in all three subjects. Among schools serving grades 7–8, nearby averages were 33% in ELA, 21% in math, and 18% in science; Miwok was ahead by 40, 37, and 40 percentage points, respectively. Its leads over the next-highest nearby all-grades result were 21 points in ELA, 23 in math, and 23 in science. Math is Miwok’s least strong subject relative to the state and district, but its results are still well above nearby comparisons.
