Summary

Nicholas Elementary serves 482 students in kindergarten through sixth grade in Sacramento, as part of Sacramento City Unified. In 2025–26, its proficiency rates were below district and California averages in English language arts (ELA), math and science. The clearest concern is ELA: 16% of Nicholas students were proficient, compared with 41% districtwide and 49% statewide.
