Almondale Elementary is a K–6 school in Bakersfield’s Rosedale area, serving 631 students in the Rosedale Union Elementary district. Its 2025–26 results were above California’s in English language arts and math, but below the state in science and below its district in all three subjects. The clearest concern is upper-grade math: proficiency fell to 32% in grade 6, below the state’s 37% and the district’s 41%.

Compared with ten nearby schools, Almondale’s results were below the group average in all three subjects, with math the largest gap.
