Summary

Yorba Linda High is a 1,631-student public high school serving grades 9–12 in Yorba Linda, California, in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified district. Its 2025–26 test results were substantially above state and district results in English language arts, math and science. The most important finding is that Yorba Linda led all six nearby comprehensive high schools in all three subjects.

The school’s clearest advantage over nearby peers was in math: 65% of students were proficient, compared with a 45% average among the six peers—a 20-point lead. Its results were 79% in English language arts and 61% in science, leading peer averages of 70% and 50% by 9 and 11 points. Compared with the state, the school was ahead by 29 points in English language arts, 26 in math and 25 in science; compared with the district, it led by 12, 8 and 9 points, respectively.
