Located in Oceanside, California, Cesar Chavez Middle serves 557 students in grades 6–8 in the Oceanside Unified area. Its results are mixed: English language arts (ELA) is close to district performance, while math and science lag. Chronic absenteeism is also high compared with the district, state, and nearby schools.
