Summary

Bel Air Elementary is a K–5 school in Bay Point, serving 328 students in Mt. Diablo Unified. In 2025–2026, just 15% of students were proficient in English language arts (ELA), 14% in math and 12% in science—well below district and state rates in all three subjects. Chronic absenteeism was also unusually high at 40%, the highest among the 10 nearby schools.
