Midland Elementary serves 553 students in grades K–5 in Moreno Valley, within the Moreno Valley Unified area. In 2025–26, proficiency was below the district and state in English language arts (ELA), math, and science; among Midland and ten nearby schools, it ranked fifth-lowest in ELA, fourth-lowest in math, and sixth-lowest in science. The main concern is that students are not yet keeping pace with nearby schools or broader benchmarks, especially in math.
