Summary

Davis Elementary is a 357-student school serving kindergarten through sixth grade in Stockton and part of Lodi Unified. In 2025–26, just 20% of students were proficient in English language arts (ELA), 17% in math and 14% in science; Davis was below both district and state results in all three subjects and near the bottom among nearby schools serving the same grades.

Science is Davis’s strongest subject relative to nearby schools, while ELA is its clearest weakness. Chronic absenteeism dropped 17 points, from 46% in 2021–22 to 29% in 2025–26, but remains above the state’s 18% and the district’s 24%.
