Huntington Beach High serves 2,645 students in grades 9–12 in Huntington Beach, California, as part of the Huntington Beach Union High district and a group of high schools in nearby communities. Its clearest strength is that 2025–2026 proficiency was above the state in English language arts (ELA), math, and science, by 24, 8, and 16 percentage points, respectively; the school’s advantage over its district was thinnest in math, at under one point.

ELA is the school’s strongest subject compared with local benchmarks, while math is its weakest.
