Bryant Elementary serves 571 students in grades K–6 in Garden Grove, within Garden Grove Unified. Its clearest academic concern is uneven performance by grade: third- and fourth-grade ELA proficiency was especially low, while fifth grade was a bright spot.

Overall, science is Bryant’s strongest subject against nearby schools and the state, while ELA and math lag. In 2025–26, about 36% of students were proficient in science, essentially matching the state and nearby-school average, though below the district’s 45%.
