Esencia Middle serves 349 students in grades 6–8 in Rancho Mission Viejo, a community in south Orange County. Its 2025–26 proficiency rates were strong across all three reported subjects: 81% in English language arts (ELA), 74% in math and 69% in science, each above results for Capistrano Unified and California.
