Summary:

Savanna Elementary has four K–6 schools—Twila Reid Elementary, Holder Elementary, Hansen Elementary and Cerritos Elementary—with 1,719 students combined. In 2025–2026, their average proficiency was 49% in English language arts (ELA), 45% in math and 38% in science; compared with the state, the area average was 1 point lower in ELA, 7 points higher in math and 2 points higher in science. The clearest overall pattern is that Holder leads all three all-grades subjects, while Twila Reid is lowest in all three.

Holder Elementary scored 56% in ELA, 52% in math and 47% in science—6, 14 and 11 points above the state, respectively. At the other end, Twila Reid Elementary scored 36% in ELA, 35% in math and 28% in science, trailing the state by 13, 3 and 8 points. Hansen Elementary was a strong second in ELA at 54% and science at 42%; Cerritos Elementary was more mixed, with 48% in ELA, 44% in math and 37% in science. Grade-level results add nuance: Cerritos led grade 3 in both ELA and math, while Hansen led grade 6 math.

From 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, the four-school average fell by 1 point in ELA and 1 point in math, but rose by 4 points in science; the area’s average advantage over the state narrowed by 1 point. SchoolDigger’s statewide percentile ranks rose for Holder, from 70 to 73, and Hansen, from 63 to 68, while falling for Twila Reid, from 53 to 43, and Cerritos, from 67 to 62. School characteristics do not sort neatly with test results: for 2024–2025, free/reduced lunch eligible figures ranged from 72% at Cerritos to 88% at Hansen, while Twila Reid was at 85%; student-teacher ratios ranged from 21.1:1 at Holder to 23.0:1 at Hansen. These four schools’ results cover just two test years.
