Los Altos Elementary has seven K–6 schools with 2,463 students combined, and reported enrollment ranges from 313 to 404 per school. In 2025–26, the schools’ average proficiency was 86% in English language arts (ELA), 86% in mathematics and 78% in science—about 37, 48 and 42 percentage points above California, respectively. The group averages were slightly below the Los Altos Elementary district averages in all three subjects, most notably by 5 points in science. The clearest overall finding is that every school scored above the state in all three subjects, even though the group averages did not exceed the district averages.
There are meaningful differences among schools: Springer Elementary led ELA at 93%, while Almond Elementary was lowest at 79%, a 14-point spread.
