ZIP code 85255 has five schools spanning elementary, middle and high school grades: three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Among the four schools with reported 2025–26 results, every school is above Arizona’s average in both subjects: their average is 66% in English language arts (ELA), 25 percentage points above the state, and 60% in math, 27 points above. The biggest difference between schools is in math: results span 20 points, compared with 7 points in ELA, making school-to-school variation in math the most important distinction in this area.

Desert Canyon Elementary leads the reporting schools overall, with 70% proficient in ELA and 68% in math. Copper Ridge School has the lowest All Grades math result, 48%—16 points below the average of the other three schools—although its grade 4 results are strong at 78% in both subjects. In a same-grade comparison for grades 6–8, Desert Canyon Middle School averages 59% in math, compared with 40% at Copper Ridge, a 19-point gap; ELA tilts the other way, with Copper Ridge averaging 68% and Desert Canyon Middle 65%.
