Its results stand out most in math: 55% of students were proficient, the highest result among the nearby schools.

Copperwood is strong in both reported subjects compared with nearby schools, the district and Arizona, but math is its clearest advantage. Its all-grade math proficiency was 55%, versus 37% in the district and 33% statewide; it was 24 points above the nearby-school average of 31% and ahead of the next-highest nearby result, 49% at Legacy Traditional School - Glendale.
