As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote We have had nothing but problems with the staff at this school.

The second day of school our kindergartener got a note home from school that she was not participating enough in class. At that age, if she is not crying in a corner on the second day of school, she's doing great since she has likely never been away from her parents!

My other child was yelled at by the librarian for not completing a book report type test after returning a library book, a test she was not told she had to take until after she was yelled at.

At one point our son's entire class was given detention every day for 3 weeks, but we were never informed that there were any problems until my son came home crying that he hated school (something he's never had a problem with before) and we had to contact the school to get more info. That is not an issue with the kids, that is an issue with the teacher's classroom management skills.

After that we had a meeting with the entire 6th grade staff, the principal and character ed teacher. They assured us they would contact us on any issues with our kids. They informed us if my daughter wore the wrong color tights, or forgot lunch money, but then an incident happened where they failed to contact us. This incident is a huge deal to us, and they failed in a big way. We are appalled at how poorly they handled this, and highly recommend against sending your kids here. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
