Most importantly, its latest results show stronger proficiency than the state and district in English language arts and mathematics, while 11th-grade science is above the state and matches the district.

English language arts is the school’s clearest local strength: 60% of students were proficient, compared with 41% statewide and 58% in the district; the five nearby schools with reported results averaged 49%. Paradise led those results, by 2 points over Shadow Ridge High School.
